About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team in the construction sector. This role is integral to our pre-construction phase, requiring an individual with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and an ability to produce accurate and competitive cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems in construction projects.

* Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop accurate estimates.

* Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.

* Prepare tender submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.

* Track and analyze market trends, labor costs, and material prices to maintain competitive and accurate estimates.

* Support the handover process to the project delivery team upon successful tendering.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction industry.

* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, piping).

* Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Strong communication and negotiation skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

* Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field are highly desirable.
