Plumber - TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Commercial Heating Plumber to join a family run company, within their Commercial Service Department. This will be covering the Peckham and Camberwell area.

Working as a Commercial Heating Plumber, you will be working on a variety of blocks of flats within the social housing sector, with a range of local authorities in the area.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

As a Commercial Heating Plumber your duties will include:

* Install, maintain, and repair pipes and fixtures (i.e. radiators, cylinders) associated with district heating systems in residential properties.

* Carry out testing and inspection on heating systems.

* Isolate and cap radiators/valves when found to be leaking.

* Replace/install radiators and ancillary pipework where required.

* Replace/install 2 and 3 port control valves and immersions, wiring the controls accordingly.

* Replace/install cylinders, thermal stores, tanks, and ancillary equipment.

* Replace/repair pipework, tap stats, isolation valves and mechanical plant where required.

* Emergency call out based on rota system (1 in 4 weeks to 1 in 6 weeks).

The ideal candidate for the role will have:

* Must have 5+ years of social housing experience

* NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing

* Driving license

* Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

* Good listening skills and strong verbal communication skills
