Mechanical Design Engineer Job Overview

Creating and modifying 3D modelling drawings with the use of Creo Parametric
Producing FEA and simulations with the use of ANSYS and LUSAS
Assisting with procurement of materials
Providing estimates and quotations to customers
Liaising with customers and responding to technical enquiries

Mechanical Design Engineer Job Requirements

Proven background within a Mechanical Design Engineering role
Degree or apprentice qualified within a Design, Engineering or Manufacturing related topic
Based in a commutable distance of St Helens, Warrington
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of GD&T
Proficient with 3D modelling software, ideally Creo
Experience with FEA simulation

Mechanical Design Engineer Salary & Benefits

Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
