Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse and Delivery Driver based in Greenford, London. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a dual capacity, balancing responsibilities between warehouse operations and delivery driving.
Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Duties:
- Efficiently manage and organise inventory in the warehouse.
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare and package orders for delivery, ensuring all items are correctly labelled and ready for dispatch.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with stock-taking and inventory control procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, in a safe and effective manner (training provided if necessary).
Delivery Driving:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to maximise efficiency and reduce travel time.
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring products are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and manage associated paperwork.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, maintained, and in good working order.
Qualifications and Skills: - Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in warehouse operations and delivery driving is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable, and proactive with a strong work ethic.
