Our client, a well-established security company, is looking to recruit a Design Engineer. The company undertakes significant work on National Grid and gas sites, and this role will be offered on a remote basis, with occasional visits to HQ and site locations.

Responsibilities:

* Produce concept design packages.

* Develop detailed design packages.

* Generate RFIs (Requests for Information) and TQs (Technical Queries).

* Conduct site surveys.

* Provide proactive support to the design and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.

* Identify project risks and develop contingency plans.

Required Experience:

* Proficiency in AutoCAD.

* 2D drawings.

* 3D BIM.

* Experience in the design of security systems.

* National Grid Person certification - Substation / EUSR - SHEA Gas.
