NPI Project Engineer

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Hours: Office hours are 7:30 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 7:00 - 13:00 Friday

Salary: £40 - 45k

We are seeking an experienced NPI Project Engineer for a well-established company known for providing precision components and engineering solutions across various sectors, including aerospace, oil and gas, and construction. This engineering-led role will oversee the introduction of new products from initial contract review through to the manufacturing stage.

Key Responsibilities of an NPI Project Engineer:

* Develop and manage an accurate, achievable project plan to monitor and track the progress of New Product Introduction.

* Schedule and manage all associated processes in a timely manner.

Key Skills of an NPI Project Engineer:

* Experience managing NPI development teams, achieving strong RFT and OTIF metrics.

* Ensure compliance with contracts and relevant statutory requirements.

* Oversee components, assemblies, and projects through pre- and post-manufacturing processes.

* Coordinate with teams to agree on manufacturing methods and timeframes for 3D CAD, work holding, tooling, programming, and quality standards.

* Monitor all parts through engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.

* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Project).

* Extensive knowledge of CNC manufacturing methods.

* Strong understanding of materials, processes, and treatments
