Senior Commercial Officer | Coventry | Defence | £55,000 Per AnnumOverview:A leading defence and engineering organisation is seeking a Senior Commercial Officer to join their growing team. This role will involve full contract lifecycle management, supporting UK and export markets, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory frameworks.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial and contractual activities across major defence projects
• Lead bid support, tender submissions, and contract negotiations
• Draft and maintain distributor, reseller, and agent agreements
• Ensure contractual obligations are appropriately flowed down to the supply chain
• Provide commercial governance and compliance guidance across the business
• Support due diligence, risk management, and process development

Required Experience:

• Significant experience in a commercial, legal or contract management role
• Proven background in complex contract negotiation and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of defence or regulated sectors preferred
• Familiarity with import/export regulations (desirable)
