Salary: 50k - 55k 

Hours: 09.00- 17.30

I am seeking an experienced management accountant to assist my client based in Hersham on a permanent basis. They are a company that are growing, and they require some extra support in the field of management accounts. You will need be able to produce timely management accounts and official national statistics on behalf of the company. This is a high-volume environment and multi-sited.

The Management Accountant’s job role is to help provide support to the Finance Director to ensure a smooth operation of the Finance Department through overseeing sales invoicing, purchasing, banking & expenses, debtors and budgets. 

Duties: 

Checking consumption and stock and reporting any variances to the budgeted GP to our Managing Director.VAT returns and dealing with all cash related matters (Bank and invoice financing)Investigate queries raised about the invoices.Facilitate chasing outstanding invoices.Manage mileage, expenses, and supplier payments.Budget work, including preparation and budget to actual information.Completing monthly management journals.Updating Fixed assets schedule allowing for monthly depreciation.Company vehicles log.Supporting finance staff – Initial contact for queries, problems etc. and being presence in office for them.Liaise with insurers regarding insurance and annual review of company liability insurance.Reporting analysis and comparatives on head office expenditure.

Requirements:

QBE or Part Qualified or QualifiedIdeally from a retail or hospitality backgroundHigh volume and stock management background would be an advantage.
