Plant Operators/Groundworkers

Location: Wrington, North Somerset

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am until 4pm - 6 Month project

Salary: £150-£200 per day

Our client is seeking experienced Plant Operators and Groundworkers to join their team on a dynamic construction project. This role is essential to the successful execution of groundwork and plant operations, requiring hands-on experience, attention to safety, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities of a Plant Operators/Groundworkers:

* Operate heavy plant machinery (e.g., excavators, dumpers, rollers) for groundwork activities.

* Assist with various groundworks tasks, including excavation, trenching, grading, and levelling.

* Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery in line with site safety standards.

* Work from project specifications and follow the directions of site supervisors and foremen.

* Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.

Key Skills of a Plant Operators/Groundworkers:

* Valid Plant Operator Tickets (e.g., CPCS or NPORS) - essential for operating machinery.

* CSCS Card - required for site access.

* Experience in Groundworks - ideally with a focus on site preparation and foundation work.

* Ability to work from technical specifications and site plans.

* Strong commitment to health and safety.
