Data Centre Shift Technician - Slough - £55k + Performance Bonus

Are you an experienced Shift Technician looking to elevate your career in a high-performing, mission-critical environment? We're hiring for a Data Centre Shift Technician to join a leading team in Slough.

The Role:

As a key member of the engineering team, you'll ensure the seamless operation of critical infrastructure in a world-class data centre. Working on a continental shift pattern (days & nights, 6:30am-6:30pm), you'll handle a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance to maintain uptime at this critical site.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform PPMs and reactive maintenance on critical systems, including electrical and mechanical equipment.

* Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics to resolve technical issues promptly.

* Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure such as HV systems, UPS, generators, and cooling systems.

* Work collaboratively to ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience in a data centre or other critical environments.

* Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).

* Experience with HV systems is highly desirable, along with an HV ticket.

* A proactive, team-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
