Sales Director - Healthcare Sector

Location: Birmingham

Are you a dynamic and motivated professional with a passion for driving business growth in the healthcare sector? We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team and help shape the future of healthcare innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas within the healthcare sector. Develop and implement strategic business plans to capitalize on market opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
  • Business Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within the healthcare industry. Drive the end-to-end business development process from lead generation and prospecting to proposal development and contract negotiation.
  • Partnership Development: Evaluate and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations that enhance our healthcare solutions and expand market reach.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, track key performance metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure alignment between sales projections and financial goals.

What We Need from You:

  • Professional qualification within Healthcare Administration or a related field, or proven experience in business development within the healthcare sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and key players.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with clients and partners.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • A valid driving license and a full five-year checkable employment history including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check, and right of work compliance.

Professional Qualifications & Licenses (advantageous):

  • Other appropriate professional qualifications.
