My client is a market-defining Insurtech company who is looking for a Head of Operations to oversee all aspects of operations management at their Hertfordshire office. This role is crucial for driving improvements in their customer experience and operational efficiency.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Oversee the end-to-end claims lifecycle, ensuring processes are efficient, optimised, and customer-centric.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the claims team to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
  • Work closely with the compliance team to ensure all operations comply with FCA regulations and internal policies.
  • Champion a customer-first approach in claims handling, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement in claims processes, leveraging technology and data to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive operations and align claims operations with strategic goals.
  • Proactively identify risks in the claims process and implement mitigating actions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks to monitor claims performance and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a senior claims management role within a regulated environment (FCA-regulated business experience preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of claims processes, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Desirable: Experience in the property, insurance, or financial technology sectors.
