Role Responsibilities
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients and trusts, overseeing the timely preparation and submission of tax returns
  • Acting as the key point of contact for your clients, building strong and lasting relationships
  • Providing expert advice on a range of matters including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust taxation
  • Supporting junior staff members through mentoring, technical guidance, and review of their work
  • Identifying planning opportunities and supporting the delivery of advisory work
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards
  • Liaising with HMRC and handling client correspondence related to enquiries and disclosures

Candidate Requirements
  • ATT and/or CTA qualified (or QBE with significant relevant experience)
  • Proven experience managing a personal tax portfolio within a practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax, trusts, and estate planning
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
  • A proactive, client-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is desirable
