The Role:
As a teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that follow the National Curriculum and help students develop both academically and personally. You'll foster a caring, supportive classroom atmosphere where each child feels valued. Your role will include planning, delivering, and assessing student progress, and establishing classroom environments where students flourish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum and as directed by school leaders
- Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that meet the diverse needs of students
- Monitor and track students' progress, providing targeted support when needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages all students to participate and succeed
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles
- Provide constructive feedback to students and set targets to help them improve
- Maintain effective classroom management and ensure a safe, respectful environment for learning
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A good grasp of the National Curriculum and the ability to deliver it effectively
- A caring, nurturing approach to teaching, with the ability to support students' individual needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, productive learning environment
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to making a difference in students' lives
- Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is desirable, but not essential
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, ready to contribute to the school community
