Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
• Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
• Support cash flow forecasting and manage cash flow effectively.
• Track project costs, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
• Assist in year-end accounts preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Collaborate with various departments to offer financial guidance and insights.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

Profile

Qualifications & Skills:

• Part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience (relevant practical experience in a similar role).
• Previous experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within the construction industry or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive, results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
