We are currently working with a fantastic accountancy firm based in Colchester. The firm is looking to recruit a part-time (25 hours a week) Semi-Senior Accountant to join their vibrant team.

What you will be doing:

• You will be assisting in ensuring that client records are impeccable, up to date, and deadlines are met on time.
• Bookkeeping including bank reconciliation, purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Complete payroll.
• Deal with and resolve queries over the phone and via email.
• Balance sheet reconciliation.

What you’ll need to have:

• Part ACCA qualified or AAT Level 4
• Strong practice experience
• You will have excellent communication skills, be self-motived, and possess excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient I.T skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Xero software.
