The Account Manager at GDS is responsible for maintaining and nurturing strong relationships with our existing clients.  This role plays a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction and expanding our customer base.  You will be the primary point of contact for clients, offering guidance, support, and innovative solutions to meet their needs.  

Key Accountabilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.

  • Understand the unique needs and objectives of each client and ensure that the solutions provided align with their goals.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Eworks products or services to existing clients. 

  • Develop account growth strategies and execute plans to increase revenue and market share within the client portfolio. 

  • Act as a point of contact for clients to address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.

  • Analyse client data and usage patterns to identify areas for improvement or additional services.

  • Provide regular reports to clients on the performance of their Eworks solutions.

  • Manage the renewal and renegotiation of contracts as necessary.

  • Develop sales forecasts and strategies to achieve revenue targets.

  • Provide training and support to clients as needed to maximise their usage and understanding.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product development to provide a unified client experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, preferably as an Account Manager or similar.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities to address client needs effectively.

  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to achieve targets.

  • Familiarity with the software industry and/or experience in workforce management is a plus.
