Senior Estimator

Essentials

• Degree qualified in Design, engineering or Quantity surveying.
• Have a minimum of 5 years in an estimating role within a comparable organisation.
• MUST have previous experience of working in FF&E, fitout/ furniture environment.
• Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, word, power point, and outlook
• Experience with AutoCAD/and or 3D software desirable

Purpose of role

To assist the Bid department in securing projects/orders for the continued growth of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Download and file Tender enquiries in line with company procedures.
• Preparation of quote template and proposed product information.
• Negotiate with supply partners such as discounts, payments, terms etc.
• Attend pre and post tender meetings with clients to discuss our quote.
• Provide support and advice to Graduate estimators.
• Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with AutoCAD/and or 3D software would be advantageous.
• Be part of the team producing winning bids and tenders for some of the most high-profile Student accommodation, Residential and Hotel projects in the country and the continued growth of the business.
