Electrical Field Engineer Required

Full-time contract role

Shorterm is currently looking to recruit an Electrical Field Engineer on behalf of their client who is a specialist electrical & instrumentation services contractors providing engineering, construction, commissioning and maintenance services.

This role is a long term contract role which will require travel.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare technical submittals and builders work drawings.
- Schedule and track project timelines.
- Create record drawings and design drawings, including alterations to working drawings.
- Develop installed drawings and O&M Manuals.
- Process requisitions, generate purchase orders, and confirm deliveries.
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure cost-effective pricing.
- Organize draft contracts and quotes.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Review project documentation, drawings, and calculations as needed.
- Manage all other duties associated with the role.

**Requirements:**
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Proven track record in coordinating projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
- Excellent time management, prioritisation, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong capability to drive large-scale projects.
- Construction background is preferred
