We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious client for a Level 3 Qualified Electrical Maintenance Critical Shift Leader to work within a high-pressure, critical environment in London's E14 area. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced electrical professional with HVAP certification to join a forward-thinking team.

The Role:
As the Electrical Maintenance Critical Shift Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued smooth operation of vital electrical systems. Working in a critical environment, you will be responsible for leading a team, overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting high-voltage systems, and ensuring that downtime is minimized.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the electrical maintenance team on your shift, ensuring tasks are carried out safely and effectively.

* Perform planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on critical electrical infrastructure.

* Execute High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) responsibilities, including switching, isolation, and issuing permits.

* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

* Adhere to all health and safety standards and industry best practices.

* Maintain detailed records of work performed and shift activities.

* Ensure smooth handover between shifts to maintain continuous operational effectiveness.

Essential Requirements:

* Level 3 Electrical Qualification.

* High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) certification.

* Extensive experience in electrical maintenance within a critical environment (such as data centres, hospitals, or other critical infrastructure).

* Proven leadership and team management experience.

* Flexibility to work on a continental shift pattern, including days and nights.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
