Job title: Field Service Engineer - Industrial & Commercial Fans & Ventilation Systems

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for mechanics and electrics?

We're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our client's team, tackling challenges in industrial and commercial ventilation systems across the UK.

Your role will combine diagnosing and repairing fans, delivering outstanding aftersales support, and working closely with the sales team to uncover opportunities for retrofits, refurbishments, and maintenance solutions.

Who you'll be working with?

OK, so there's a massive electric motors and components company based in the US with over 30,000 employees, valued at over $6+ billion globally. They own a successful European company in the air movement and fan sector with a 50-year history, 1000+ employees worldwide, and a fantastic reputation. The UK branch of which is a small dynamic team experiencing annual growth climbing towards an impressive £10m turnover. This UK branch is where you'll be working!

With investment in the customer service and aftermarket department, there's now an opening for a new Field Service Engineer to get involved, offering long-term promotional perks from the larger global parent company. What will you be doing?

A critical aspect of the role is to provide enhanced aftersales support, addressing customer needs and ensuring a positive experience to help rebuild trust and satisfaction in our client's products and services.

We need glass half full folk, who see challenges, not problems.

As the new UK Service Engineer, we will need your technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to a high-level of customer service to help this dynamo team keep their reputation and growth trajectory in tip-top shape.

Are you right for this role?

If you're proactive, customer-focused, and love building trust through reliable service, this role is for you. With 5+ years of HVAC or industrial ventilation experience and strong technical skills, you'll also be a key player in improving customer satisfaction and promoting innovative solutions.

You'll have a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Also, relevant construction industry (CSCS) site accreditation will be needed.

Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Fans, HVAC, Mechanical Systems, or Electrical Maintenance) are advantageous.
