Ranson Barnes Recruitment Ltd is excited to partner with a market leading and well established Sheffield based engineering company.
Due to further expansion, our client is now seeking a permanent Sales Professional with a demonstrable track record in the development of new business sales in the very wide and diverse field of Mechanical Engineering. It would be expected that the candidate be from a sales background and be target driven.
This is mainly an office-based role concentrating on generating leads and developing customer relationships.
Job Role
* Identify leads and target relevant companies
* Develop prospects from qualified leads
* Engage with the prospect company to identify needs and opportunities
* Secure enquiries for suitable contracts
* Follow-up on submitted proposals and quotations to prospects
* Negotiate and resolve any objections to the submitted proposal/quotation
* Convert proposals and quotations to orders
* Ensure the CRM system is utilised and updated to maximise sales opportunities
* Maintain customer relationships to build repeat business
Ideal Experience
* Ability to drive sales and build strong client relationships
* Generating leads and identifying target contacts
* Strong prospecting and sales experience
* Track record of selling into relevant sectors
* Experience of selling bespoke/high volume contracts
* Experience of negotiating contracts
