Regional Manager's Thoughts

Barton is a small market town on the south bank of the river Humber. The Wheatsheaf is in a prominent position in the town centre with the Baysgarth Park less than a mile away. Local to the pub, you will find an array of shops, supermarkets and schools.

Surrounding Area

The customer base is drawn predominantly from the large range of cask ales and traditional food lovers frequenting the pub throughout the day. There is a community of locals who socialise at the pub on theme nights. With six hand pulls and nearly 50 covers, the Wheatsheaf is an established business, supported by period features such as low ceilings, log burners and wood panelling. This really is an opportunity for enthusiasts who have an attraction for historic pubs and can provide an influential profile within the community.
