Job Opportunity: Engineering Manager

Overview:
Wilson Recruitment is seeking a proactive and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations at a client site in Holme-upon-Spalding Moor. This role offers a salary of up to £55,000 per annum and requires a strong leader with expertise in mechanical and electrical systems. With working hours of Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, this position provides a balance of structure and flexibility while supporting a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, motivate, and develop the engineering team to meet business and site KPIs.

* Manage workloads and delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations.

* Oversee preventative maintenance and ensure plant equipment complies with legislation.

* Maintain safety, food hygiene, and GMP standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

* Act as a key member of Food Safety, HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP teams.

* Develop cost-effective systems for maintenance and inventory management.

* Keep detailed and accurate records, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

* Provide out-of-hours support when required and ensure smooth operation during a 24/7 production cycle.

What We're Looking For:

* A mechanical or electrical engineering qualification is essential.

* Extensive experience in mechanical and electrical systems, including maintenance.

* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and organize teams.

* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

* Desirable: NEBOSH/IOSH certification, food hygiene qualifications, and experience in food production environments.

* Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend or out-of-hours work during peak periods.
