SEN Teaching Assistant - South Manchester

Monarch Education are working in partnership with an outstanding two form entry primary school in South Manchester. The school has a wonderful ethos and is warm and welcoming to all as soon as you walk in. The staff have provisions in place for all SEN children, including a calming sensory room and an abundance of resources to help and support.

This role is ideal if you have career aspirations in the field of teaching, psychology, criminology, social work, probation services, care or if you simply love working with children!

Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant include:

Providing one-on-one, and group support to students with ASD, global development and SEMH needs.
Working alongside teachers and other support staff.
Creating a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere and environment.
Encouraging positive social interactions and emotional regulation to.Requirements of an SEN Teaching Assistant include:

Desire to work with children with special educational needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
