Scout Recruiting is now looking for a PART TIME Food Technical/Ops Assistant to join our client's busy family business located on the outskirts of Peterborough.

Starting salary for this role would be £35K pro rata. Working hours would be 3 days or 20 hours a week split over Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

* To assist with all Food Technical queries from Clients and the Sales Team

* To create and manage Product Specifications using Manufacturers Information

* To check Client Food Labelling for compliancy against The General Food Regulations 2004 and approve artwork ready for printing

* Administration and Ownership of all Client Portals for Allergens and Nutritional's

* To manage the ongoing amends of the Allergen & Product Information Matrix

* To assist when needed with tasks involving BRC Food Safety

* To assist with maintaining and the administration of the NPD Process and check list for Supplier Approval

* To assist with Factory hygiene inspections and assist in preparation for third party and Customer Audits

* To support and assist with any other Operational duties required

Key Skills:

* Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
