This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is rapidly expanding and offers the perfect environment for someone with your skills and ambition. As Head of Finance, you will be at the forefront of the business's continued success, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. You'll work closely with the Finance Director, Managing Director, and wider senior leadership team confidently presenting financial data and strategy at board level.

With a healthy pipeline of major international projects and revenues projected to grow significantly by 2030, this role is critical in shaping the long-term financial strategy of the business. You'll lead and develop a capable finance team, implement robust systems, and ensure compliance with all financial and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, group reporting, and board-level analysis.

Oversee the annual budget process, monthly re-forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support strategic decision-making.

Manage company cash flow and present weekly/monthly 12-week rolling forecasts to the Senior Leadership Team.

Lead the preparation of statutory accounts, liaise with auditors, and manage audit and internal compliance processes.

Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, controls, and reporting processes.

Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team, ensuring skills, tools, and resources align with business needs.

Support the FD with external financing, group facilities, and advising on the financial impact of contract negotiations.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

Proven experience in a senior finance role with a track record of leading financial strategy and teams

Strong knowledge of accounting standards (FRS 102 & IFRS), tax compliance, and audit processes

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

Project accounting and offshore industry experience (desirable)

Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
