Morson Talent is collaborating with a leading client in the Barrow area to fill the following position. Title: Asset Manager Delivering asset integration/pre-operational activities for site and infrastructure projects. Typical duties include (but are not limited to): Support the development of integration strategies and through life management plans Liaising with key stakeholders within the project and the end user teams Support the integration of new assets and infrastructure into site business management systems Implementing post-handover asset management arrangements Support the derivation and implementation of maintenance and spares strategies. Production and validation of working level instructions Production and Implementation of asset hierarchies Supporting operability and maintainability reviews Support the development of operations, maintenance and asset management strategies Safety: The role holder is responsible for taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, ensuring high standards for safety, health and environment (SHE) in our organisation are maintained, understood, implemented and followed by their team. This includes; co-operating and following all reasonable instruction, information and training; reporting work-related hazards or incidents, using all equipment for the purpose intended, setting high standards for SHE, leading by example and establishing the expectation that others do the same; promoting risk awareness, ensuring that risks are assessed and adequately controlled, encouraging the team to report incidents and defects and make suggestions to improve SHE standards; and ensuring actions to address SHE issues are prioritised and resourced appropriately. More detailed responsibilities are captured within the Company Health & Safety Policy (759/OF/016) and the Company Environmental Policy (759/OF/029). Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications Knowledge: The theoretical knowledge to support the compliant setting to work of new technologies. Knowledge of operational and/or maintenance principles Successful application of the knowledge required to set to work innovative products and services Knowledge of asset management principles and regulatory compliance requirements e.g. PUWER, LOLER, PSSR. Skill sets necessary to develop other technical staff Effective interpersonal skills in communicating technical matters Experience working within, or exposure to asset integration, pre-operations, or project transitions Skills: Time served with engineering, maintenance, or operational experience. A base understanding of Asset Management principles Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships Experience in delivering diverse scopes of work to challenging schedules Experience in the production and validation of working level instructions Qualifications: Desirable Degree qualified in a STEM subject Our eight company behaviours are applicable to all roles across the business, but the context of your role will determine how each behaviour is demonstrated.
