FT Recruitment are currently recruiting for a PPT Driver on behalf of our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis.

PPT Driver Job Benefits:

* £12.73 per hour

* Rotating shifts of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm

PPT Driver Job Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a PPT to transport goods and materials to designated location

* Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement

* Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated location

* Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries

* Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed

* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays

* Assist with stock counts and movements and any other operational work areas

* Ensure the warehouse and loading areas are kept clean and tidy at all times including general housekeeping duties

* Adhere to Health and Safety Procedures

* Any other tasks as required

PPT Driver Qualifications:

* Previous experience as a PPT Driver, preferably in a commercial or warehouse setting

* Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance

* Familiarity with various types of vehicles, such as vans and flatbed trucks

* Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members

* Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems

* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
