LGS Vision Recruitment are working with an modern and progressive firm based outskirts of Colchester, Essex that are looking to appoint a Semi Senior Accountant to join a friendly and growing team.

The role will involve working to deliver a broad range of accounts services to our business clients. This opportunity would suit a part qualified individual who is looking to progress their career and study towards an ACCA or ACA qualified. Alternatively, the role would be suitable to an individual who is not studying but who has a strong practice background

Key responsibilities:
· Preparation of year-end statutory accounts
· Preparation of basic corporation tax returns
· Preparation of VAT returns
· Assisting clients with queries
· Assisting more junior members of the team in accounts & bookkeeping work.

Key Competencies:
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong communication skills
· A professional approach to clients and the ability to communicate with clients both via email & over phone/face to face
· A commitment to providing high quality service and producing high quality work

Package:

· £27,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

· 20 days holiday + bank holidays (if studying) | 23 days + bank holidays (no studying)
