We are looking for a senior Business Analyst to join an investment banking client of ours, based in Central London. You will be working on a front-to-back optimisation review of the Rates business.

This will be on a hybrid basis, with three days in the office.

You will be responsible for:

• Reviewing middle office processes to produce a more optimised model.
• Assess and identify the root causes of settlements fails.
• General improvement of existing processes within collateral management and middle office functions.
• Use your experience to offer suggestions with how to improve alignment across various teams.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in process improvement projects within an investment banking environment.
• Deep knowledge of front-to-back processes for Rates products - bonds, EGB trading, bond borrow, repos and triparty.
• Strong understanding of middle office functions and workflow.
• Subject matter expert in the root causes of settlement failures and collateral management.

Benefits

This will be an initial 6-month contract with expectation to be extended. Paying in the region of £100,000 - £110,000 per annum.
