Apricus Resourcing are working closely with a national charity who are looking to hire a Permanent Housing & Support Officer for a leading Supported Housing Service based in Post Code Area KT22 Leatherhead of Surrey, who is really passionate about providing a personal housing support services.

This role is working full time with standard hours 39 hours weekly between approx Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, as start and finish times can be slightly amended to suit. Any mileage / travel expenses incurred whilst on shift will be compensated.

We have an exciting opportunity to support clients with a range of diverse needs. The clients include individuals who are homeless, some with mental health issues, those in recovery from substance misuse, and young people.

The successful candidate will be:

* Supporting and empowering clients by providing holistic trauma-informed one to one support to encourage their personal development to achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible.

* Working as part of an effective team to provide high-quality housing and support services to all clients using this service

* Carrying out housing management activities such as rent collection, tenancy enforcement, reporting maintenance issues and health and safety checks. Ensuring a firm and empathetic approach to support clients to maintain their tenancies.

* Ensuring the delivery of high-quality accommodation and support services to all clients by participating in required activities required in delivering those
