Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of Commercial Business Development Managers, driving revenue, customer acquisition and market growth while enhancing strategies to deliver customer value
  • Set clear targets and KPIs to inspire, develop and ensure accountability within the team
  • Align team efforts with channel goals through strategic planning, providing clear success paths for each member
  • Design and implement incentive programs to motivate and reward high performance.
  • Define and execute growth strategies, identify expansion opportunities, and collaborate with Commercial teams to refine customer value propositions.

Experience

  • Preferred knowledge of the UK energy market, especially within the I&C sector
  • Expertise in supporting sales initiatives with a solid grasp of pricing and deal structuring
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships
  • Confident and professional, skilled in engaging with internal teams and external clients
  • Proven success in leading high-performing new business sales teams
  • A proactive team player with natural leadership abilities, dedicated to supporting and developing team members
  • Analytical mindset, experienced in using metrics and data to drive business decisions
