Role Overview:

As a Psychology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students across Key Stages 4 and 5. You will have the opportunity to develop students' critical thinking and analytical skills, guiding them through complex psychological theories and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons for GCSE and A-Level students.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and intellectual curiosity.
Collaborate with the Social Sciences department to maintain a cohesive curriculum.
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.

Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree in Psychology or a related field.
Experience teaching Psychology at Key Stage 4 and 5 is preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Strong classroom management skills and a passion for promoting student success.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
