Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to support children with special educational needs in a Primary School setting? In a 2-form entry Primary school in Kingswinford.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with varying needs across KS1, KS2, and EYFS, focusing on creating a positive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers and SENCo to meet the needs of pupils with SEN, providing one-on-one and small group support to help them reach their full potential.

This is a full-time, long-term assignment starting ASAP and continuing until the end of the academic year.

The responsibilities of this SEN Teaching Assistant Role:

Provide support for children with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH
Assist teachers with the delivery of the National Curriculum across KS1, KS2, and EYFS
Implement tailored interventions to meet the individual needs of children
Support children with challenging behaviour in a positive and nurturing way
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN coordinators
Monitor and record pupils' progress to support their educational goals
Required Skills and Experience:

Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK Primary School
Experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour, and SEMH
Knowledge of the National Curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Strong communication and teamwork skills
