Our client, a well-established care home, is seeking a Care Home Reception/Administrator to support their team for a temporary contract of 6 months.

As the Care Home Reception/Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring a positive experience for residents, visitors, and staff.

This is a great chance to showcase your organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the entire enquiry process, from initial contact to conclusion.
Manage the move-in and move-out process of residents efficiently.
Professionally show visitors around the care home in collaboration with the General Manager.
Handle all telephone calls and enquiries
Keep management informed by regularly updating occupancy, enquiry levels, and waiting list analysis.
Undertake financial administration tasks including petty cash, resident monies (where applicable), and invoicing.
Take charge of ordering supplies and promptly report any maintenance issues.
Maintain friendly and appropriate communication with residents.
Provide administrative support to the General Manager and assist with any additional duties required.
Collaborate with the Lifestyle team on administrative-based activities.
Be prepared to undertake other tasks deemed appropriate by the General Manager.Requirements:

Possess excellent organisational and time management skills.
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be proficient in the use of IT systems and software.
Hold a valid driving licence.
