What You’ll Be Doing
  • Preparing statutory accounts and tax computations for a variety of clients including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and LLPs
  • Assisting with management accounts and VAT return submissions (including MTD compliance)
  • Liaising directly with clients and HMRC on tax and compliance matters
  • Managing your own portfolio and acting as the first point of contact for client queries
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members, providing feedback and guidance
  • Attending client meetings and supporting with new client onboarding
  • Ensuring high standards of service delivery and maintaining strong client relationships

What We’re Looking For
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • A solid background in general practice, ideally with portfolio management experience
  • Strong technical skills in statutory accounts, VAT and tax
  • Experience in reviewing and mentoring junior team members
  • Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills
  • IT savvy, with experience using Digita, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Office
  • Audit experience is a plus, but not essential
