Job Title: Education Recruitment Consultant

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum plus uncapped commission

Location: Stourbridge (office based)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm term time, reduced hours during school holidays

Experience in a recruitment or sales environment would be advantageous but isn’t essential, as full training will be given to anyone with the right attitude and a desire to succeed.

Key Duties:

• Source suitable candidates for your clients and plan ahead to ensure you have a sufficient pool of candidates from various disciplines to meet your desk requirements
• Regularly communicate with clients through calls, service visits, surveys, and mailshots to identify their current and future needs
• Continuously assess and anticipate the candidate requirements for your desk
• Maintain and expand our candidate database, ensuring consistent candidate engagement, speculative calls, and actions are executed as expected
• Manage the complete contract process, including handling client/candidate timesheets, 'Right to Work’ compliance, safeguarding, and screening
• Develop and implement an annual business plan for your desk that reflects sales growth and revenue targets
• Meet your daily, weekly, monthly, and annual productivity and sales goals to ensure exceptional candidate and client service levels
• Maintain accurate records across systems in line with policies and procedures
• Stay informed about relevant legislation, competitors, and local market knowledge
• Update candidate profiles with their disciplines and skills on the in house database

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Experience in a sales or customer service environment, or a role demonstrating the ability to build customer relationships
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
• Be proactive and commercially astute
• Self motivated, hardworking and conscientious.
• Ability to cope well under pressure
• Solution-focused with a positive attitude
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively

Desirable:

• Previous experience in recruitment, whether in education or another field.
