PE (Physical Education) Support

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £95 - £120 per day

Are you passionate about physical education and inspiring young minds to stay active and healthy?

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated PE (Physical Education) Support to join our client schools in Sheffield. As a PE Support, you will play a crucial role in assisting our PE teachers and encouraging students to participate in sports and physical activities.

Responsibilities:

Assist PE teachers in planning and delivering engaging PE lessons.
Support students during PE classes, ensuring they are safe and motivated.
Help set up and maintain sports equipment and facilities.
Encourage students to develop their physical skills and teamwork.
Monitor and report on student progress and participation.
Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere during PE activities.
Support school sports events and extracurricular activities.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance the overall PE programme.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as PE Support is desirable in an educational setting.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude.
Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
