My client is renowned for their design and manufacturing of a wide range of specialist equipment.  Established almost 40 years ago they are a prominent name in their field.  Due to constant growth and expansion they are looking to recruit a Garment Technologist / Pattern Cutter to join their existing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing new garment concepts
• Liaising with factories to ensure instructions are being followed and quality standards are met
• Approving samples from first fit to final sample stage
• Creating garment specifications and size charts
• Creating and approving patterns
• Creating and amending samples
• Interpreting customer needs through specification format
• Liaising with suppliers
• Sourcing materials
• Managing a team of 5 production staff

Person Specification:

• Confident and clear communicator
• Previous experience working as a Garment Technologist / Pattern Cutter
• Ability to Source materials and liaise with Suppliers
• Staff management experience
