We are looking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Learning Enhancement (SENCO) who will lead our overall learning enhancement provision at Repton Prep, to ensure that the school provides an outstanding educational experience for every pupil to thrive in our care. The successful candidate will be required to provide support in the Pre-Prep and Prep, working as part of the wider whole school team. They will have the skills and experience to deliver first class teaching and outcomes for our pupils. They will also have the ability to lead a department that is positive, pro-active, organised and which operates in line with current regulations, guidance and best practice.
A willingness to be involved in all aspects of day-to-day life in a busy boarding prep school is essential. All staff are involved in the close pastoral care of our pupils, and the role will report directly to the Senior Management Team, and the Head. The successful candidate will also oversee all EHCP applications and reviews, and will liaise effectively with the SMT, parents, pupils and staff to ensure that every child makes good progress.
The role is required from September 2025.
