Working Hours: Part-Time, Seasonal (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Shift Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with potential for extended hours to 5:00 PM during peak season)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Leisure Services Assistant to join our clients dynamic team for the upcoming season. This exciting part-time, seasonal position offers the opportunity to engage with customers and contribute to a fun and relaxing environment. Working primarily on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, you will play an essential role in ensuring customers enjoy a smooth and enjoyable experience at our clients leisure facilities.

As a Leisure Services Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support both customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of the facility. Key duties include:

* Customer Service Excellence: Serve as a friendly, approachable point of contact for customers, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere at all times. You'll interact directly with customers, answer queries, and provide assistance as needed, maintaining a positive and friendly demeaner.

* Equipment Handling: You will be responsible for issuing golf clubs and other equipment to guests. This includes ensuring all equipment is in good condition, explaining how to use it properly, and ensuring that all items are returned in good order.

* Cash Handling: As this role involves handling payments for services and equipment rentals, we are looking for someone who is trustworthy and reliable when it comes to managing cash. You will be responsible for processing transactions and ensuring that all financial exchanges are accurate and secure.

* Food and Beverage Preparation: Part of the role will include preparing hot beverages such as coffee and tea. You'll ensure that drinks are made to customer specifications and delivered promptly. A passion for making great coffee and a willingness to learn are key.

* Facility Maintenance: You'll ensure that the leisure area is kept tidy and well-organised, assisting in setting up and maintaining a pleasant environment for all visitors. This might involve light cleaning tasks or assisting with minor maintenance issues to keep everything running smoothly.

* Peak Season Flexibility: During busy periods, we may require your assistance beyond the standard shift hours. We value flexibility and appreciate those who are willing to stay a little longer to ensure everything runs smoothly, especially during peak season.

Key Skills & Requirements:

* Excellent Communication Skills: A clear, friendly, and professional manner when dealing with customers is essential. You must be able to work well within a team, as well as independently when required.

* Trustworthiness: This position involves cash handling, so we require someone who is dependable, responsible, and has a good understanding of cash management and security.
