Azure DevOps Engineer - London / Hybrid - £500 - £585 Per Day Outside IR35

Eames Consulting is working with a Banking company to secure the services of a Azure DevOps Engineer on an initial 6 month contract to begin with.

Essential Skills:

• 4+ years of professional experience working on Azure cloud platform with solid troubleshooting skills.
• IaC automation using Terraform.
• Production experience of containers and container orchestration tools (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience in working with enterprise scale applications, API Gateways, high availability architectures, load balancing & disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of application and cloud security fundamentals
• Experience of setting up CI/CD pipelines including production deployments
• Experience building and working with logging and metrics solutions (Azure application Insights/ELK/Prometheus/Grafana)
• Knowledge of testing pyramids and their application to modern application architectures (microservices/SPAs)
• Experience of setting up Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS):- SQL DB, CosmosDB and ServiceBus
• Demonstrable experience of debugging applications in at least one major language (e.g. Java/Python/NodeJS/Go)
• Knowledge of at least one package/dependency management system (e.g. Maven/Gradle/NPM/Composer/Yarn)
• In depth experience of Git including development and feature based workflows and at least one Git solution (e.g. Github/Gitlab/Gerrit/Azure DevOps)
