Service Engineer (Field based) midlands

To support our contracts and with a general upturn in business we require a;

ROLE

Based in one of our local depots you will cover a geographical area, visiting various sites and once there you will be expected to be the expert on site
Usually starting with diagnostics of heavy machinery such as plant or construction, agriculture or other off road specialist vehicles
Servicing and Repairs to the highest standard to new and existing customers.
You will be representing the company whilst on site so this is a customer facing role and building relationships is important
The objective of this role is to provide the customer with World Class customer service.
Build and document knowledge about the customer company and its technical operations
Feedback any important customer information to the company
To promote aftermarket products and services to the customer
To carry out repairs to the highest standard to provide a "First Time Fix" to the customer

PERSON

Good IT skills (Possessing excellent laptop computer technical diagnostics skills)
Deep skills in the Service and maintenance of heavy equipment of various manufacturers equipment
Present a professional image at all times
Carry out all work practices in line with company health and safety policy
Possess a recognised qualification in mechanical/ hydraulics./ engines or similar Remote working roles need to be technical specialists with industry experience to be able to work remotely independently and competently
Clean driving licence and good driving record
Proof of right to work in the UK

Core Hours: 40 hours working week, 08.00 - 16.30 hours, half an hour unpaid lunch break
