Mechanical Project Manager

Salary - £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience

About the Company

Based in South Hampshire, the company are a very successful and well-respected M&E Building Services contractor providing a full range of Mechanical and Electrical services from design through to installation and commissioning to various sectors including Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Leisure, Education, and Office Fit Out projects, with project values ranging from £10k up to £500k, and as a result of continued growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Mechanical Project Manager to join the team.

Reporting into a Senior Mechanical Project Manager, your typical working week will consist of site visits (predominantly in London) 2 - 3 times per week, 1 day working from home, and 1 day office based.

Key Responsibilities, Experience, Skills and Desirable Attributes:

* Oversee and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard

* Manage and support the site teams

* Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring quality of the works, adequate progress and sufficient resources are available to maintain contract programmes

* You will need to have a minimum of 3 years Project Management experience

* Proven and successful track record of managing mechanical projects from inception through to completion

* Ability to fully understand the client requirements, technical specifications, drawings and project requirements holistically

* Excellent communication skills, ability to delegate and problem solve, prioritise key tasks and workload when working to strict deadlines

* Background in Plumbing and Heating or HVAC
