A leading UK employer with an extremely busy office environment are currently recruiting for a confident, bright and approachable candidate to perform a varied Office Manager / Executive Assistant role.

You will support the Director and wider team in a business capacity and will often be juggling many different tasks at once.

Position - Office Manager/ Executive Assistant

Salary - £43,000 (The company offer a competitive salary progression scheme)

Location - Farringdon (office based 5 days per week)

Hours - Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 4.30 pm

Essential Experience -

  • Work experience as an Executive Assistant or a Personal Assistant to a senior leadership
  • Experience in an office management role
  • Outstanding diary management and time management skills
  • Good knowledge of IT and applications - in particular MS Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Experience working with MS Teams/AV systems

Duties Include -

  • Opening, closing and managing of the office space (as appropriate and in tandem with the Security Team)
  • Managing internal meeting room bookings for the Farringdon office
  • Monitoring standards and contractors. Checking that the work is completed in a satisfactory manner - being able to check costs and efficiency of any such contractors and report back where standards are not being met
  • Postal duties, opening post and sending post out
  • Keeping monthly budget up to date (accruals)
  • Liaising with property helpdesk team regarding planned preventive maintenance and compliance inspections etc
