Resourcing Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor in Exeter.

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to assist in the delivery of a Total FM focused contract with proven ability of delivering FM services within a challenging environment.

Duties/Key Responsibilities:
Lead a maintenance team tasked with maintaining and keeping in good repair, the campus buildings electrical & mechanical systems along with all associated component parts to include:

Building fabric repairs
Minor electrical work
Minor plumbing work
Minor carpentry work
Air handling system maintenance
Completing all regular safety checks
Supervising contractors to ensure they are following safe systems of work
Completing all preventative planned maintenance checks:
Fire door checks
Emergency light testing
Fire extinguisher & fire blanket checks
Communal lighting checks
Undertaking building auditsPerson Specification:

Experience of managing a multi-function engineering team
Extensive experience and knowledge of building services and facilities engineering
Experience of managing external contractors
Experience in using and issuing work permits and safe systems of work
IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
Qualified to C&G 2391 and 18th edition
Gas qualifications would be advantageous
Plumbing skills would be advantageous
Resourceful and self-motivated
Good communication skills
Strong organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
PC Literate for all Microsoft Office applicationsWhat's in it for you?
