Role Overview:

Our client are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join there Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute to the academic success and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love for history.
Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Contribute to the development of the History curriculum and resources.
Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development opportunities.
Support the school's ethos and values, promoting high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
Engage with students in extracurricular activities, including trips and enrichment programs.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in History or a related field.
Experience teaching History at secondary level, preferably with a track record of success at GCSE and A-level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
