Logistics/Purchasing Coordinator

Location: Cheshire

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + Benefits and Bonus

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics/Purchasing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various logistical and supply chain tasks to ensure smooth operations. This includes answering calls, liaising with suppliers, arranging collections, and coordinating with haulage companies for business-to-business deliveries. If you are detail-oriented, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

      • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients within multiple sectors
      • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
      • Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about delivering excellence.
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
      • Acting as the first point of contact for client enquiries.
      • Managing a portfolio of accounts and building strong relationships.
      • Processing orders accurately and ensuring timely delivery.
      • Coordinating with internal teams to meet client needs.
      • Providing administrative support to the sales team, including preparing reports and updating CRM systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.

Renumeration:

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + Benefits

Holidays: 25 days, plus your birthday and bank holidays

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
