We are hiring for a Quality & Technical Manager to support a small food factory with their product development and compliance efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with the relevant accreditations to take ownership of quality assurance and technical procedures within a dynamic environment.

Duties of a Quality & Technical Manager

You will be working closely with the leadership and operations teams and will be responsible for:

Product and business development to support growth.
Customer engagement and communication, ensuring satisfaction and alignment.
Managing shipments, certifications, and documentation.
Creating, implementing, and maintaining compliance procedures.
Ensuring adherence to BRCGS standards and managing preparation for audits.
Presenting during audits and ensuring all necessary documentation is gathered and compliant.
Developing recipes and ensuring their confidentiality by signing appropriate agreements.
Assisting with staff training on compliance and quality standards.
Other general duties to support the smooth operation of the factory.

Skills and Experience of a Quality & Technical Manager

As a Quality & Technical Manager, you need to have experience with:

Food industry standards and certifications, including BRCGS.
Compliance management and audit preparation.
Recipe development and confidentiality processes.
It would be beneficial to the role if you also had:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of supply chain operations and shipments.
An ability to work long-term in a committed and settled capacity.
